Provider and agreement

Lersso is developed and operated by Oleh Hoshovskyi, Ohio, United States (“we”, “us”). These Terms describe the conditions and important limitations of the Lersso app and this website. They apply as a contract where you have been given appropriate notice and have validly agreed under applicable law. Merely visiting this website or installing the app does not, by itself, establish acceptance of every supplemental term here.

Your App Store license is subject to the license agreement supplied with the app. Unless a custom agreement is supplied through the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies. These website Terms do not replace that agreement or automatically amend an existing license. Mandatory law and the applicable App Store license control any conflict. Lersso is provided by its developer; Apple operates its own services and is not the provider of Lersso’s product support.

Using Lersso and your content

Lersso is a multimedia notebook for capturing, organizing, finding and exporting information. You retain your rights in your content. The processing needed for a feature remains subject to your permissions, any legally required consent, and the practices described in the Privacy Policy; it does not transfer ownership of your Records to us. The app, website, branding and their original materials remain protected by their respective owners’ intellectual-property rights. Open-source components remain subject to their applicable licenses.

Use Lersso lawfully. You are responsible for obtaining necessary rights and permissions before recording, importing, processing or sharing material, including confidential documents and other people’s voices, images or locations. Recording and consent laws differ between states and countries and may depend on every participant’s location. Permission to use a microphone or camera on your device is not another person’s consent to be recorded. Do not assume that one participant’s consent is always sufficient.

Do not infringe others’ rights, distribute malware or interfere with access protections. You must have legal capacity to agree to applicable terms; where required, a parent or legal guardian must authorize use by a minor. These responsibilities do not excuse our own unlawful conduct or remove our legal duties.

Free, Pro and compatibility

Free functionality includes capture and organization, basic search, OCR, reading existing saved results, original-file export and optional iCloud sync. Pro enables new transcripts, translations, supported analysis, summaries, action items, Ask and professional exports. Optional Local AI photo matching additionally requires eligible hardware, download consent, resources and an enabled build.

Features depend on device, OS, language, region, permissions, Apple services and available resources. Buying Pro does not make an unsupported feature available. Check compatibility and the app’s current availability messages before subscribing.

This website describes the 1.6 preview and does not itself announce a public App Store release.

Subscriptions, trials and cancellation

Where offered, Pro is an automatically renewing monthly or annual subscription purchased through Apple. The purchase screen shows the actual price, currency, billing period and offer terms before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically at the disclosed terms unless you cancel through Apple.

A free trial or introductory offer is available only when Apple displays it for your eligible account. Its duration and conversion price are the ones shown before purchase. A trial converts to the paid subscription unless cancelled according to Apple’s terms; Apple advises cancelling at least 24 hours before a trial ends if you do not want renewal.

Manage or cancel in Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions → Lersso. Deleting Lersso does not cancel a subscription. Restore Purchases can restore eligible entitlements for the Apple Account used to purchase; it does not restore Library content.

Apple handles billing and refund requests. Eligibility depends on Apple’s rules, country or region and applicable consumer law. Cancellation help · Refund help.

If Pro ends, existing Records and saved derived content remain readable. New Pro processing may stop. Cancellation does not itself delete your data.

Price changes are subject to Apple’s notice and consent rules and applicable law; these Terms do not authorize undisclosed charges. Access can take time to update after a purchase, renewal, refund or account change. StoreKit can provide previously verified entitlement information offline, but this is not a promise of indefinite offline Pro access. Reconnect and use Restore Purchases if an eligible purchase is not recognized. Keep your Library; reinstalling is not a required purchase-recovery step.

Nothing here limits statutory cancellation, refund or other payment remedies. Apple’s payment role does not remove our responsibility for the Lersso service we offer.

Generated results and possible matches

Check important results against the originals. OCR, transcription, translation, summaries, action items, Ask responses and visual matching can be inaccurate, incomplete or misleading. Results may omit information, confuse people or roles, change meaning, or associate the wrong source with an answer. A citation makes a source available for inspection; it does not prove that the answer follows from it.

Possible Matches are similarity suggestions, not verified objects, identities, events, actions or relationships. A missing result or an “unknown” response does not establish that the requested information is absent from your Library. Language, image quality, background noise and incomplete indexing can affect results. Lersso does not promise exhaustive retrieval or universal photo, video or language understanding.

Lersso is not a medical, legal, financial, emergency or safety service. Do not use its generated results as the sole basis for decisions that could materially affect health, safety, legal rights or finances. Review dates, amounts, names, translations and proposed actions before relying on them or sending them to other apps.

Local models require eligible hardware, permissions, installed resources and available storage and memory. Downloads or processing can fail, pause or be cancelled; heat, battery and operating-system conditions can limit availability. Removing a model does not delete original Records, but dependent processing may stop until resources are installed again.

Data loss, backups and recovery

Keep independent copies of irreplaceable information. Lersso is not a guaranteed archival, disaster-recovery or continuous-backup service. Data may be lost, damaged or unavailable because of accidental deletion, interrupted capture or saving, software defects, updates, insufficient storage or memory, device failure, app removal, loss of a device or account, or incompatible files. Integrity checks and recovery mechanisms reduce certain risks; they cannot guarantee recovery in every case.

Confirm that an important Record and its media were saved and can be reopened. Make independent backups before replacing a device, uninstalling the app or making substantial changes. Recently Deleted only helps while an eligible Record remains recoverable; permanent deletion and storage loss may make recovery impossible. Support cannot reconstruct local content it does not possess.

Portable Backup and Restore validate supported package contents and restore independent copies rather than replacing existing Records. A damaged, incomplete, changed or unsupported-version package may be rejected. Preview a backup before restoring and verify the resulting Records and original media before discarding any source copy. Do not modify a backup to bypass validation. Successful checksum validation is not a guarantee that every desired item was originally captured.

Backup files and exports can contain sensitive data. Portable backups are not password-encrypted by Lersso. Device file protection is not a portable password protecting an exported file. Choose a trusted destination with appropriate access controls and encryption. Deleting a Record does not erase copies already exported, backed up or shared. Backup guidance.

iCloud and other Apple services

Optional iCloud sync is synchronization, not an independent backup. Changes and deletions can propagate between devices. Network interruptions, account restrictions, storage limits, service outages, version conflicts and delayed processing can leave devices with different information. Check that important content is available on the intended device before relying on it.

Apple controls iCloud, Apple Account, App Store, system models and other Apple-operated services under its own terms. We are responsible for our integration to the extent required by law; we cannot guarantee Apple’s availability or recover an inaccessible Apple Account. Turning sync off does not automatically delete data already in iCloud. Calendar and Reminders items you create may remain separately after a related Record changes. Network or storage charges from your providers may apply.

Capture, media and permissions

Recording, scanning, importing or playback can fail or be interrupted by permissions, calls, other apps, operating-system restrictions, device resources or unsupported and damaged files. Verify the saved result before deleting the original or relying on a recording as your only copy. In-app video recording currently has a 30-second limit; supported import and playback are subject to the app’s current restrictions.

Grant only permissions needed for the features you choose. Lersso’s permission requests do not establish that recording or sharing is lawful in your circumstances. See the recording responsibilities above and capture guidance.

Availability and changes

Features may be interrupted or become incompatible following device, OS, language, region or Apple-service changes. We may make changes for security, legal compliance, compatibility or product development. Where practicable, we will give reasonable advance notice of a material reduction or discontinuation affecting a paid service and explain available options. Urgent security or legal action may require shorter notice.

We remain responsible for fulfilling the paid offer as required by Apple’s terms and applicable law, including applicable remedies if we cannot do so. These Terms do not give us an unrestricted right to remove paid functionality without those protections. You can stop using Lersso at any time; separately cancel Pro through Apple to stop future renewals.

Warranty disclaimer

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LERSSO IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE EXTENT THEY MAY LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED.

We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, perfect accuracy, universal compatibility, absolute security or guaranteed data recovery. This disclaimer does not negate an express commitment that cannot lawfully be excluded, a statutory quality obligation, or any non-waivable consumer warranty or remedy. The applicable App Store license also addresses warranties. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.

Responsibility and consumer rights

Only where legally enforceable, we exclude liability for indirect, incidental, special and consequential damages, including lost profits, business interruption and loss of data to the extent those losses fall within those categories, arising from use of or inability to use Lersso. This is not an exclusion of every loss involving data or every direct claim. Applicability depends on the circumstances and governing law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing waives mandatory privacy, security, consumer, payment or statutory rights or remedies. User backup and verification responsibilities do not eliminate our own legal duties.

These supplemental Terms do not impose an additional monetary liability cap, mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver or an obligation for you to indemnify us. The applicable App Store license has its own provisions and remains subject to mandatory law. No disclaimer here prevents you from contacting a regulator or seeking a remedy available under applicable law.

Applicable law and disputes

To the extent these supplemental Terms are validly agreed and a choice of law is permitted, Ohio law governs them, without using conflict-of-law rules to remove mandatory protections of your place of residence. This provision does not replace the governing-law provisions of the applicable App Store license or Apple’s separate agreements.

You may contact support@lersso.com to seek an informal resolution. Doing so is voluntary and does not waive rights, shorten legal deadlines or prevent access to a competent court, small-claims process, regulator or available consumer dispute procedure. These supplemental Terms impose no exclusive court location.

If a provision is unenforceable, it is ineffective to that extent; the remaining provisions continue only to the extent lawful. No invalid provision is automatically expanded into a broader waiver. A failure to enforce a provision does not by itself waive it.

Privacy and updates to these Terms

The Privacy Policy explains data handling; acknowledging it is not blanket consent to unrelated data processing. Feature permissions and any legally required consent are handled separately.

This version is identified as 2026-10-17-R2. We may revise these Terms and will identify the revised version and date. A website edit alone does not establish your acceptance of a material contractual change. We will provide notice and obtain agreement where required before applying such a change; changes will not retroactively remove accrued rights. Contact support for the text of an earlier version.
