Who provides Lersso

Lersso is developed and operated by Oleh Hoshovskyi, Ohio, United States. Contact support@lersso.com for privacy questions or requests. This policy covers the Lersso app and lersso.com.

Records and local processing

Records may contain text, photos, video, voice, documents, location, tags and derived content such as OCR, transcripts, translations, summaries, action items and Ask results. The Library is stored locally on your device. You do not need a separate Lersso account.

Lersso does not send your Library to a Lersso-hosted AI server or a third-party AI inference provider. Apple Vision OCR, available on-device Foundation Models processing and the installed SigLIP2 photo model run on your device. Search indexes and other derived caches support app functionality; originals remain the source material.

The app does not include advertising or third-party behavioral analytics SDKs. This is not a claim that Apple services, support email or website hosting generate no technical data.

Optional Apple services

iCloud. If you enable sync, Lersso sends Library content and synchronization information to the private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account. Apple operates iCloud under its own terms and privacy policy. Sync can use network and account resources. Turning it off does not automatically delete existing iCloud data.

Models and languages. Optional Local AI assets are downloaded from Apple after consent on eligible builds and devices. Apple translation and other system capabilities may require language or model downloads. These requests involve Apple’s services and technical connection information.

Speech. Lersso uses supported on-device speech processing where available. Depending on device, OS and language, a compatibility path may use Apple’s speech-recognition service, which can send audio to Apple. Speech is therefore not unconditionally offline.

Purchases. Apple processes payments and manages subscription transactions. Lersso uses entitlement and transaction information to determine access to Pro; it does not receive your payment-card number.

System integration. Record metadata such as titles, tags and dates may be donated to on-device Spotlight and App Intents to help you reopen Records. Calendar and Reminders items you choose to create are then managed by those apps and any connected accounts.

Device backups. Canonical Library files are not excluded from Apple’s device-backup mechanisms. Depending on your device settings, they may be included in an iCloud device backup or a computer backup independently of Lersso’s own sync switch. Manage those copies through Apple’s backup controls. Inclusion and recovery depend on the backup service and settings; Lersso does not guarantee them.

Permissions are tied to features

• Camera and Photos: capturing or selecting media and documents.
• Microphone: recording voice or audio with video.
• Speech Recognition: supported speech transcription paths.
• Location: adding a place to a Record when you choose.
• Calendar and Reminders: creating items after your action and system authorization.
• Files: access to files and backup destinations you select.

You can change permissions in iOS Settings. Revoking a permission may disable the related function without preventing unrelated notebook functions.

Exports, backups and sharing

Exports and portable backups can contain sensitive Record content. You choose their destinations. Once saved to Files, sent by email, shared with another person or opened in another app, those copies are governed by the destination and recipient. Removing content from Lersso does not remove those copies.

Lersso’s portable backup format includes integrity information but does not add password encryption. A person or service with access to the exported file may be able to read its contents. Secure the file and destination; a checksum is not an access restriction.

Support and diagnostics

If you email support, we receive your address, message and any attachments you choose to send, and use them to respond, investigate and maintain support records. Please send only what is necessary. You can request deletion of support correspondence, subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping needs.

Lersso does not automatically send its local diagnostic logs to the developer. Apple may provide crash, performance or TestFlight feedback information under your Apple settings and Apple’s policies. Review diagnostics and screenshots before sharing them yourself.

Support correspondence passes through email providers and may be stored outside your state or country. We retain it as needed to handle the request, investigate related issues, and meet applicable legal obligations or resolve disputes. The necessary period depends on the matter. We do not need your Apple Account password, full payment details or entire Library to answer an ordinary support request.

Retention, deletion and recovery

Your local Records remain until you remove them, the app’s applicable deletion process completes, or local app data is removed. Recently Deleted may permit recovery before permanent removal. The app’s displayed controls govern the available recovery period.

Deleting the app removes its local app data but does not necessarily erase iCloud data, exported copies or backups. Manage those separately. Sync can propagate deletions to your other devices. Deleting a Record does not necessarily remove Calendar or Reminders items already created from it.

Ending Pro does not itself delete existing Records or saved derived results. Removing the optional AI model removes model resources, not original Library content. Keep an independent backup of important information.

This website

This static website is hosted by Netlify. Serving pages can involve IP addresses, browser information, requested URLs and timestamps processed by the hosting provider for delivery, reliability and security. Hosting infrastructure may process requests outside your state or country.

The site files do not embed advertising, behavioral analytics, remote fonts, social trackers or a contact-form service. The site’s theme control stores your chosen appearance in browser local storage. If Netlify displays its hosting badge, hiding it may also store a browser preference. Clear these preferences through your browser’s site-data settings. Email links open your mail app; sending an email is your choice.

Security and your rights

Lersso uses platform storage and access controls and integrity checks for supported data operations. No device, transfer or storage method is guaranteed to be completely secure or loss-free. Protect your device and Apple Account and review shared copies.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or other rights under applicable law. Contact us to make a request. We cannot retrieve local Records that have not been sent to us. Apple Account and iCloud requests may need to be handled through Apple.

Contact support if you suspect a Lersso security issue; do not send sensitive examples unless needed and agreed. We will assess incidents and provide any notices or remedies required by applicable law. This policy does not transfer our legal security or privacy obligations to you.

Children and age requirements

Lersso is a general productivity tool. Use must comply with applicable age requirements and the Terms of Use. If you believe a child has sent personal information to support without appropriate permission, contact us so we can investigate and address it. This website does not invite children to create accounts or submit personal information.

Policy updates

This policy version is 2026-10-17-R2. We may update it as Lersso or applicable requirements change. Material changes will receive notice and, where required, consent before the changed processing begins. A revised policy does not itself authorize a new use of your information.
